• Knowledge or the ability to learn crop insurance rules and procedures.
• Review of LPRA policies, handbooks and other crop insurance manuals.
• Professional communication skills, emails, memos, and phone calls.
• Bachelor’s degree or two (2)+ years of agriculture experience focusing on pork production, beef production or dairy production industries.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the Livestock department.
• Assist in the training and coaching of agents and staff on new systems, procedures and best practices.
• Provide support for agent communications including emails, the company website and other marketing materials.
• Provide education resources & support for producers.
• Implement new technologies and systems to improve operational efficiency.
• Gather agent feedback for new and enhancements to existing tools.
• May include any ad hoc projects and assisting other departments as necessary.
