About The Position

Responsible for performing Criminal/Civil Background Screenings and Diligent Search in accordance with Chapters 39, 65, 435 and Department of Children and Families Policy. Serve as primary contact for Live Scan clients; includes the scheduling of appointments and physical process of capturing fingerprints. Collects any necessary documentation, personal information, live scan data or fees required for administration of Livescan and other pertinent background screening services. Assist in Diligent Searches. Participate in training and development activities. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Four years computer work experience required
Valid driver’s license
Ability to represent self and the organization in a professional manner
Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
Ability to think and write creatively
Ability to assess a situation and make appropriate recommendations/ decisions
Ability to research, organize and analyze data
Ability to solve problems and to think through critical, time sensitive issues
Ability to establish and maintain relationships

Ability to maintain confidential information
Strong Written and Verbal Communication

Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word
Experience with PowerPoint
Clear a Level II Background screening (Live Scan) in which your fingerprints will be used to conduct the screening
Clear a reference check
Clear a local background check from the County in which you reside
Clear a substance abuse screen
Provide a copy of all degrees prior to your first day of employment
Clear an E-Verify check to substantiate that the successful candidate meets the Department of Homeland Security authorization requirements to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

Associates degree preferred
Law or Criminal Justice knowledge preferred
