About The Position

Cancelled Breaks is hiring a Live Stream Host to host live streams showcasing basketball and other sports card breaks and collectibles. The role involves engaging viewers, answering questions, building a loyal community, promoting and selling products, and representing the brand professionally. Hosts also help package and label orders before shipping and sort and organize cards after streams.

The company provides paid in-house training in live-streaming basics, product knowledge, customer engagement, sales strategies, and company policies. This role is based in the company's studio and is not remote. The host must be available for morning or evening shifts and each day of the week; during training, availability for both AM and PM shifts is required.

Requirements

• Knowledge of one or more professional sports, specifically the NFL, MLB, and/or NBA.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week.
• Open availability for morning or evening shifts and availability each day of the week; availability for both AM and PM shifts is required during training.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude and a passion for engaging with others.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of accountability.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Basic tech skills; familiarity with streaming platforms and Google Drive is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Host live streams showcasing sports card breaks and collectibles.
• Engage with viewers, answer questions, and create a fun, interactive atmosphere.
• Monitor chat, multitask, and communicate effectively with the audience to build relationships and a loyal community.
• Maintain a consistent streaming schedule and meet production goals.
• Promote and sell products during live streams, upsell items, and drive customer engagement to increase sales.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the Cancelled Breaks brand professionally.
• Help with pre-shipping tasks, including packaging and labeling customer orders.
• Assist with sorting and organizing cards after live streams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
