This opportunity is ideal for applicants who are comfortable sharing an apartment with another Live-In Mentor while providing guidance and support to individuals with mild to moderate developmental disabilities who are members of a Residential Group Home Community. Requirements

Comfortable sharing an apartment with another Live-In Mentor
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to handle overnight emergencies and prioritize resident safety.
Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive home environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

Overnight Presence – One Live-In Mentor must be designated as the on-call emergency contact each night.
Coordinating Overnight Duties – Work with your roommate to ensure coverage and fair scheduling.
Helping with Morning & Evening Routines – Support residents with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and personal hygiene.
Ensuring a Safe Living Environment – Secure the building and respond to any emergencies.
Weekend Support (2 shifts per month) – Provide structured support to residents.
Being a Positive Role Model – Foster a sense of community and inclusion.
