This is a live-in residential support role within Colorado’s HCBS Developmental Disabilities Waiver program. The provider resides in Erik’s home and supports daily routines, community participation, and independent living while working as part of a professional service team. The provider will support Erik's morning routine and transportation to his day program (typically Monday–Thursday, 9am–3pm), have personal time while Erik attends day program, and provide afternoon, evening, and weekend companionship, meals, and shared activities. This includes supporting participation in community activities such as movies, church, sporting events, and family gatherings, as well as supporting daily living activities including meal preparation, grocery shopping, budgeting, and maintaining a clean and organized home environment. The role also involves assisting with personal care supports, primarily providing reminders for Erik, maintaining a calm, structured, and supportive home environment that promotes Erik’s health, safety, supervision, and wellbeing, encouraging independence and supporting daily living skill development, communicating regularly with Erik’s family and support team, and completing required service documentation and communication with Stepping Stone.
