About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for licensed Live-In Home Health Aides to care for clients in Burlington County, Camden County, Atlantic County, Ocean County, and Cape May County. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will be present in the client's home and available to provide assistance intermittently throughout a 24-hour period. The role offers a $250 sign-on bonus for new hires who are hired and working within their first 30 days. BAYADA is a long-standing home health care provider, celebrating 50 years of service.

Requirements

• Must be a Licensed HHA.
• One year of verifiable work experience with a Healthcare Agency, or a non-healthcare Employer (if newly licensed)
• Successful completion of a 76 hour Home Health Aide training course (HHA Certification in New Jersey)
• Hold an ACTIVE HHA licence with the New Jersey Board of Nursing
• Must be able to attend in-person orientation at our Pennsauken office.

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
• Remain in the home for each 24-hour period, as assigned by clinical manager.
