Live-In Cleaner (Weston Road)
About The Position
CLV Group is seeking a Live-In Property Cleaner to join their operations team at their Weston Road community in North York. This role is for a dependable cleaning professional with strong customer service skills who enjoys contributing to a vibrant community of over 200 residents. As a live-in team member, the cleaner will be responsible for maintaining all building areas and ensuring that shared spaces remain clean, modern, well-maintained, and welcoming for residents. The Weston Road community consists of two conjoined apartment buildings with on-site amenities including laundry facilities, parking, and security systems. The property is situated in a well-connected urban corridor with direct access to TTC transit and nearby GO service, as well as convenient access to major highways. The surrounding community includes a mix of residential and commercial amenities such as shopping centres, schools, healthcare services, and recreational spaces, with parks and trails along the Humber River located nearby.
Requirements
- Ability to perform a variety of repetitive physical tasks, including bending, kneeling, lifting, and walking for extended periods of time.
- Basic English verbal communication skills.
- Friendly, respectable, and community-minded with strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be eligible to successfully complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC) as a condition of employment.
- Ability to provide professional references and have a proven record of reliable work attendance.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning, janitorial services, or housekeeping is considered a strong asset, but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, laundry rooms, and common areas to ensure high hygiene standards.
- Empty garbage and ensure that waste is disposed of safely and properly.
- Perform occasional deep cleaning including scrubbing baseboards, cleaning appliances, and refinishing floors.
- Respond to any cleaning work orders submitted by the property management team.
- Occasionally engage in snow removal during winter months.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the property operations team.
- Follow all safety protocols and use all assigned personal protective equipment appropriately.
