About The Position

Draycott Nursing & Care is seeking a Live In Carer to provide cover for their primary live-in carer. This role involves residing with a client for a two-week period every two months. Draycott has been a leader in the domiciliary care market for three decades, focusing on building strong relationships with clients and healthcare professionals. They aim to match carers' skills and experience to clients' diverse needs, ranging from physical and practical support to social and emotional care.

Requirements

Must be willing and able to undertake an Enhanced DBS check (or show proof of being on the DBS Update Service).
Must be eligible to work in the UK without the requirement of company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Reside with the client for the duration of the rota (two-week placement every two months).
Provide cover for the primary live-in carer.
Assist with enteral feeding.
Provide discreet and sensitive personal care.
Plan, prepare, and potentially assist with feeding.
Administer and manage medication.
Perform light housekeeping duties.
Assist with mobility.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Communicate effectively with the client and build a strong relationship.
Work closely with the Draycott Head Office support team.
Keep accurate, factual written accounts of time with the client via the care management app.
Be aware of the client’s emotional and spiritual needs.
Observe and follow Draycott Nursing’s Health and Safety policy.
