Requirements

Previous caregiving experience (professional or personal) required; experience with oxygen use preferred.
Ability to assist with personal care and mobility.
Knowledge of oxygen safety and emergency response protocols.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be reliable, patient, and trustworthy.
Ability to live on-site with scheduled time off.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred).
Background check required.

Experience with oxygen use preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting while maintaining dignity and comfort.
Help with safe transfers, walking assistance, and fall prevention.
Ensure oxygen equipment is functioning properly and follow safety protocols.
Prepare heart-healthy meals according to dietary guidelines.
Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean, organized home.
Provide timely reminders for prescribed medications (non-medical).
Offer emotional support, conversation, and engagement in activities.
Assist with shopping, appointments, and other errands as needed.
Be available for assistance during the night if required.
