About The Position

Companions Forever is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as Live-in Caregivers across multiple service areas in Connecticut. This role involves providing non-medical home care, including assisting clients with daily living activities, transportation, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and offering companionship and emotional support. The company has been providing these services for over three decades, focusing on empowering clients to maintain independence in their homes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• Open availability preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed
