About The Position
Nest & Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional care to clients in Sandy Spring, MD. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong sense of empathy and a desire to help those in need.
Requirements
- At least one (1) year of caregiving experience working in agencies, nursing homes, group homes, assisted living, etc.
- No attendance issues.
- Belief in making a difference in the lives of clients.
- Must be okay with pets (dogs).
Responsibilities
- Perform personal and companion care, including assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Read the client’s care plan and assessments and provide consistent quality care based upon the care plan for each client.
- Adhere to all company policies, including dress code, time off, and call-out procedures.
- Clock in and out of every shift worked on the appropriate systems associated with the client or clients they are servicing.
- Observe clients, recognize changes in their behavior or health, and notify the appropriate personnel of Nest & Care if necessary.
