About The Position
Preferred Care at Home of Apex, Garner, and Fuquay-Varina is seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers for Live-In cases to support seniors in their homes throughout South Wake County and surrounding communities. Requirements
- Prior caregiving experience preferred (professional or family caregiving experience considered)
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
- Ability to remain attentive and responsive to client needs
- Current TB test (or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients, families, and office staff
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
- Observe and report changes in condition
- Follow individualized care plans
