About The Position

We are looking for live-in caregivers who are able to provide care to clients for 24-hour periods. Caregivers are typically scheduled for 2-4 days at a time, staying onsite in the client's home for the entirety of their schedule. This role offers the benefit of no daily commute and the opportunity to build a positive working relationship with a consistent client.

Requirements

18 years of age or older.
Ability to pass a state and national background check.
Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and clean driving record.
Active WA State CNA or HCA license and up to date on CE credits.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
Ability to provide more than companionship care and work with different care levels.
Smart phone with ability to download and utilize the AxisCare app.

Responsibilities

Provide care to clients for 24-hour periods.
Stay onsite in the client's home for the entirety of the scheduled shift (2-4 days).
Perform household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.).
Cook and/or serve meals.
Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies.
Transport clients for errands or appointments in the caregiver's vehicle.
Assist with gait belt or Hoyer transfers.
Monitor and report on client's condition.
Utilize the AxisCare app on a smartphone.
