About The Position
This role involves providing 12-hour in-home support as a Live-In Caregiver. The position offers stable, block scheduling, where you work 3-5 consecutive days and then have multiple days off. You will be provided with a comfortable private space, Wi-Fi (if available), and shared meals during your shifts. The compensation includes competitive pay, overtime for extended hours, and mileage reimbursement for errands. Requirements
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Confidence with safe transfers and basic housekeeping/cooking.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to remain awake/alert for overnight safety checks.
- Compassionate, reliable, and mindful of privacy in a client’s home.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a live-in caregiver, home health aide, or PCA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility exercises.
- Plan, prep, and serve nutritious meals.
- Keep the home tidy with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide timely medication reminders and track basic health indicators.
- Engage with clients through conversation, games, walks, and support for social outings or errands.
- Maintain clear and respectful updates with clients' families and the care team.
