About The Position
Open Arms Solutions is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Live-In Caregiver to provide quality care and support to clients in their homes. This position requires a caregiver who is committed to promoting client independence, safety, dignity, and overall well-being. Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience within the last 2 years
- Previous live-in caregiving experience required
- Experience providing dementia and memory care
- Experience with hospice and end-of-life care
- Experience providing incontinence care
- Experience assisting clients requiring total care with ADLs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
- Ability to pass background screening and meet employment requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide total care assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Assist with transfers, mobility, and ambulation
- Provide compassionate dementia and memory care support
- Support clients receiving hospice and end-of-life care
- Assist with incontinence care and maintain proper hygiene
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Follow care plans and agency policies to ensure quality care
