About The Position

Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate and experienced Live-In Caregivers to join our team in Nashville, Whitaker, and surrounding areas. We offer multiple positions for individuals who want a stable, full-time role with one client, reducing exposure to illness and living expenses. Our agency is dedicated to being a caregiver-first company, providing a positive work environment and opportunities for fulfilling, happy lives. We serve communities in eastern North Carolina, including Rocky Mount, Wilson, Enfield, Tarboro, and Goldsboro.

Requirements

Live-in experience
Flexible work schedule
2-3 years of hands-on in-home 1-1 care experience
Ability to lift/transfer up to 25 lbs to assist with ADL care
Clean background check and drug test
Clean driving record and current car insurance
Current CNA certification preferred OR at least 2 years in home senior care experience

Responsibilities

Providing one-on-one proactive companionship to seniors with chronic health conditions in their homes (discussing current events, create artwork, reviewing photo albums)
Escorting to doctor's appointments or running errands (grocery shopping)
Reminding clients to take their medications
Performing light housekeeping task such as dusting, tidying, laundry
Assisting clients in preparing meals
Observing their well-being; communicating with nursing team
