About The Position

FCP Live-In is hiring Live-In Caregiver positions throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Florida. This role is ideal for certified CNAs, HHAs, or PCAs who prefer not to work in a traditional medical setting and are looking for a job that makes a difference. The position involves assisting clients with activities of daily living, medication oversight, companionship, meal preparation, shopping, running errands, and transportation to appointments. Specialized care for Dementia/Alzheimer's and Hospice Care are also part of the responsibilities. FCP Live-In has been a leader in home care for over 29 years, specializing exclusively in Live-In Care, with a philosophy that emphasizes the importance of remaining at home, especially for aging individuals. The company aims to maximize clients' independence and minimize the effects of illness, accident, or disability through outstanding in-home services.

Requirements

  • Certified CNA, HHA, or PCA
  • Experience working with the elderly
  • Successful clearance of health screens as required by state regulations
  • Successful clearance of state, federal and company background and reference checks
  • Must have flexible availability with the willingness to work throughout VT, NH, ME, CT, MA, RI and FL

Responsibilities

  • Perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living
  • Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, and dressing
  • Provide ambulation assistance and help with prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Medication oversight and reminders
  • Provide companionship, socializing with the client, and purposeful engagement
  • Facilitate client wellness
  • Cook meals and prepare snacks
  • Perform shopping (grocery, household, other) and run errands
  • Provide transportation to appointments
  • Perform homemaking activities
  • Provide Dementia/Alzheimer’s Care
  • Provide Hospice Care
