About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking a Live-in Caregiver. This role involves providing comprehensive care and companionship to clients in their homes. Live-in caregivers are paid for 16 hours of a 24-hour shift, with 8 hours designated for rest. Caregivers will have a separate sleeping area and access to bathing facilities. Clients are responsible for providing meals, or a $10 daily meal stipend will be provided.
Requirements
- Own vehicle to get to and from clients
- Reliable Transportation
- Attention to detail
- Home Health Aide -PCA- LNA
- Ability to write, read, and speak English fluently
- Good time management skills
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
Responsibilities
- Assist client with ambulation and mobility around the house
- Assist client with personal care and hygiene
- Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client
- Assist with shopping errands
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Report any unusual incidents
