About The Position

This role is in the 2nd Shift - Slaughter Plant - Live Hang Dept. 101.

Requirements

• Production workers are required to stand for a period of time, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms.
• The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 25-40 pounds.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• This is a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required
• Receives chickens before entering the production area
• Hangs live birds in the shackles in a humane manner
• Rotate in position cycle as instructed
• Sorts out DOA’s (Dead on Arrival’s) and leaves on belt
• Understands Animal Welfare and regulatory requirements
• Responsible for any and all directives set forth by Senior Management
• Maintains work area in a safe and sanitary manner
