About The Position
This individual will be responsible for safely hanging birds at line speed and will cross train in other areas of the department including yard jockey. The 1st Shift is Monday to Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, with a starting pay rate of $24.90 plus an attendance bonus. Some weekend work is required. The 2nd Shift is Monday to Friday, 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm, with a starting pay rate of $25.90 plus an attendance and shift differential bonus. Some weekend work is required.
Requirements
- Must be trained on Company Guidelines on Animal Welfare Practices/Policies
- Able to work in a hot and wet environment
- Able to work well with management and fellow employees
- Must be a team player and have a positive attitude
- Excellent attendance, safety and work record
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred
