About The Position
Fighting Irish Media, the award-winning production team at the University of Notre Dame, is seeking an innovative Live Events Assistant. This role is responsible for bringing the thrilling stories of varsity teams, coaches, and student-athletes to life through elite live broadcast and videoboard productions. The work will showcase Notre Dame Athletics to millions of fans across the country and around the world through premier partnerships with NBC and the ACC Network. The ideal candidate is a technical expert, a creative storyteller, and a phenomenal teammate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with exceptional communication
- Strong understanding of all live production needs, including producing, directing, technical directing, graphic operations, replay, etc.
- Solid understanding of Adobe Suite.
Responsibilities
- Direct, technical direct, and support high-end broadcast and videoboard shows for assigned Varsity sports, ensuring Notre Dame is always represented at the highest level.
- Collaborate on the student-worker program, training and leading the next generation of live production talent.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing fresh ideas and cutting-edge live broadcast techniques back to the FIM team.
