Live Events Account Manager & AV Solutions Lead

PEAK TechnologiesOakville, ON

About The Position

At Peak Technologies, we specialize in delivering innovative solutions for both virtual and live events. From high-impact marketing activations to large-scale conferences, we bring expertise, creativity, and technical precision to every project. Our mission is to craft exceptional event experiences that connect, engage, and inspire. This role is for an experienced Live Events Account Manager & AV Solutions Lead who understands both the creative possibilities of live events and the technical and financial realities required to deliver them successfully. In this role, you’ll be more than an estimator. You’ll be a trusted partner to clients, helping shape their vision from the first conversation through show day and final reconciliation. You’ll develop smart AV solutions, build accurate budgets, protect margins, solve problems, and collaborate with the teams that bring the event to life. If you enjoy working with clients, solving complex production challenges, building winning estimates, and seeing your work come to life on the show floor, this could be a great fit. This isn't a position where you'll simply receive a scope and put numbers into a spreadsheet. You'll have a seat at the table. You'll help determine what's possible, how it should be produced, what it should cost, and how we can deliver it successfully. You'll work with clients and internal teams to turn concepts into real-world productions—and you'll get to see the results of your work. Every project is different. Every client brings a new challenge. And when the lights come on and the show works exactly as planned, you'll know you helped make it happen.

  • Working knowledge of audio, video, lighting, LED, staging, and basic rigging
  • The ability to understand and work with technical drawings and production documentation
  • Strong Excel and project-costing/ERP skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive, analytical, customer-focused mindset
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects while keeping the details—and the client experience—on track
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10–20%, depending on event volume

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted, long-term partnerships and become the person clients turn to when they need a production solution.
  • Translate a client's goals, ideas, and budget into a practical, compelling AV production plan.
  • Develop detailed estimates covering equipment, labor, logistics, vendors, and production services.
  • Own project budgets, forecasting, margins, change orders, and final reconciliation.
  • Develop solutions for general sessions, breakouts, trade shows, corporate events, and large-scale live productions.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, operations, vendors, venues, and other partners to make the plan work.
  • Find smarter ways to deliver the client's vision—maximizing impact and value while protecting profitability.
  • Help develop proposals, bids, and presentations while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
