Live Event Crew Austin
About The Position
We are hiring all positions to support concert tours, festivals, corporate events and other live events in Austin. We work with some of the biggest production companies in the business and provide labor to venues of all sizes. Requirements
- Ability to push, pull and lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to consistently walk, stand, bend, stoop & twist.
- Comfortable climbing & working at heights (for Rigging).
- Reliable source of transportation to event sites.
- Must understand general industry terms and fundamental principles.
- Must be willing to work varying stagehand level roles.
- Must be willing to work indoors or outdoors under varying weather conditions.
- Must be willing to work cohesively with teammates and supervisors.
- Must wear appropriate attire and footwear for concert / corporate events as outlined in Rhino policies.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Must be 18 yrs of age or older.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to receive, understand, and respond to safety-critical instructions in dynamic, high-risk environments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers while working around heavy equipment, elevated structures, rigging, and rapidly changing conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Previous industry experience.
- Flexible availability.
- Fall Pro, SPRAT / IRATA certifications (for Rigging applicants).
Responsibilities
- Load, push, and handle equipment.
- Perform carpentry, electrical, audio, lighting, and video technician duties.
- Work at heights for rigging.
- Adapt to varying stagehand level roles.
- Work indoors or outdoors under varying weather conditions.
- Work cohesively with teammates and supervisors.
- Wear appropriate attire and footwear for events.
- Communicate effectively in English to ensure safe execution of tasks and coordination with crew and clients.
