Cedar Circle Farm and Education Center seeks per diem educators to facilitate our Little Farmers program. Little Farmers is a farm-based early childhood program for children ages 2-5 and their caregivers, offering hands-on opportunities to explore the farm, the food we grow, and our relationships with the natural world. Little Farmers Educators create and lead a new sensory place-based lesson inspired by seasonal changes on the farm. The program runs for 10 months and has two unique formats: Indoor cooking classes on Tuesdays (9:30-11:00 a.m.) from January through April and Outdoor, on-farm classes on Sundays (11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.) and Tuesdays (9:30-10:30 a.m.) from May through October. Educators may teach on Tuesdays, Sundays, or both. The position averages approximately 5 hours per week from January through April (including planning and teaching time) and approximately 8 hours per week from May through October for educators teaching both days.
