About The Position

The Training Specialist is responsible for training new and existing Personal Injury Litigation employees on firm systems, office software applications, and departmental processes. This includes Microsoft Office, Filevine, e-filing platforms, and other litigation-support tools. The Training Specialist will develop and deliver training programs, monitor employee progress, and provide individualized support as needed. Additionally, the Training Specialist will review, audit, and verify case file data and documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with firm standards. This role requires strong litigation knowledge, a high attention to detail, and the ability to coach teams on best practices across the life of a PI case (pre-litigation through trial preparation).

Requirements

  • Full-time, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, M-F.
  • 5+ years of Paralegal/legal assistant or training experience.
  • Experience with case management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Personal injury or general litigation experience is preferred.
  • Experience e-filing in both state and federal courts a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review existing files to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Audit file documents such as pleadings, emails, correspondence, and related case materials.
  • Ensure litigation staff and attorneys are updating files consistently and accurately.
  • Monitor file activity to ensure all case files are handled at least once per month.
  • Identify discrepancies or errors within case files and communicates findings to management for review and follow-up.
  • Prepare and maintain file audit reports, including documentation of findings, trends, and training records.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on firm systems, office software applications, and departmental workflows.
  • Monitor employees’ progress during the training process.
  • Create user manuals and provide one-on-one assistance when needed.
  • Ensure all employees are trained according to company standards.
  • Identify areas of improvement in existing training methods.
  • Provide feedback to management on the effectiveness of the training program.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
