Litigation Support Specialist
About The Position
MSX International is seeking an automotive technical expert to support legal counsel in warranty litigation matters involving automotive technical issues. The specialist will coordinate with legal counsel, participate in lemon law seminars, inspect vehicles to evaluate customer concerns and repair processes, and travel locally or regionally to designated dealerships. The role also involves reviewing technical cases, reporting findings to legal counsel, and supporting legal case compilation. The specialist will evaluate cases on technical merit, contribute as a subject matter expert in discussions and meetings, and report on case evaluations and technical inspections. The position is described as hybrid, averaging one to two days of field work with regional travel and three days working from home per week. The posting states there is little to no weekend work.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of automotive experience.
- Highly motivated, critical-thinking, adaptive, and autonomous, with the ability to deliver measurable results.
- Ability to travel locally or regionally to dealerships.
- Ability to analyze and document vehicle case updates using Microsoft Excel tools.
- Ability to communicate technical information to all levels.
- Ability to analyze data and create custom reports using provided templates.
- Ability to effectively use MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and manage a progressive workload in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Current ASE certification; previously certified individuals will also be considered.
