Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with +2 years of litigation paralegal experience
• Strong knowledge of New York state and federal court rules and procedures
• Proficiency with litigation databases, electronic filing systems, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational, research, and communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and electronically file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other court documents in state and federal courts
• Support attorneys with discovery, trial preparation, exhibits, and overall case management
• Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and other court-related websites
• Manage large-scale document productions and case data using litigation support platforms such as Relativity
• Cite-check, proofread, and fact-check briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents
• Maintain accurate and well-organized case files in accordance with firm standards
• Assist with mentoring and supporting junior paralegals, as appropriate
