About The Position

Job Duck is seeking a Florida Litigation Support Assistant to support a growing litigation focused law firm serving clients across Real Estate, Business, Intellectual Property, and Class Action matters. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys creating structure, managing communications, and ensuring legal documents are accurate and properly filed. You will serve as a key point of contact for clients while supporting attorneys with administrative and legal support tasks that contribute directly to case progress and client satisfaction. The right candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, dependable, and comfortable working independently while taking ownership of their responsibilities. Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience supporting legal professionals, law firms, or litigation environments
  • Ability to proofread documents with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, organize, stamp, and file legal documents
  • Provide general legal assistant support for attorneys and firm operations
  • Monitor attorney and case related tasks to ensure timely follow up
  • Support client intake processes and schedule appointments when needed
  • Track and maintain information related to pricing and case documentation
  • Maintain digital files and ensure proper document organization
  • Proofread legal documents for formatting, accuracy, case numbers, dates, and other critical details
  • Assist with electronic filing in Florida and federal court systems
  • Manage client phone calls and email communications professionally and promptly
  • Assist with administrative projects and operational initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve workflows and internal processes
  • Answer incoming calls and route communications appropriately
