The role offers meaningful responsibility on complex commercial litigation matters while working closely with experienced litigators and trial teams.

Requirements

3+ years of litigation experience gained at a law firm, government agency, or corporate legal department
Excellent academic credentials
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Responsibilities

Supporting complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts
Drafting motions, briefs, memoranda, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and other litigation documents
Conducting legal research, fact development, witness preparation, and deposition preparation
Managing document review, e-discovery, privilege reviews, and large-scale discovery matters
Preparing for hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trial
Managing multiple matters while working collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and litigation support professionals
