About The Position

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our trial attorneys in managing a high-volume litigation docket. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess extensive knowledge of state and federal court procedures. This position requires a strong grasp of discovery protocols under the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure (TRCP), excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

Requirements

Minimum of six (6) years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm setting
In-depth understanding of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure (TRCP) and relevant federal rules
Proficiency in MS Office Suite , Adobe Acrobat , Westlaw , PACER/ECF , and E-File Texas
Familiarity with Trial Director and e-discovery platforms (preferred but not required)
Strong internet research and analytical skills
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Willingness to work overtime as needed, including occasional evenings or weekends during trial prep

Hot seat trial experience
Experience with high-volume caseload management

Responsibilities

Draft and format shell discovery responses, correspondence, and pleading shells
Prepare hearing and trial notebooks
Manage and maintain calendaring of court deadlines, hearings, and discovery obligations
E-file documents in state and federal courts using E-File Texas and PACER/ECF
Conduct cite checking and Bluebooking (preferred)
Assist with trial preparation and provide hot seat trial support (highly preferred)
Coordinate with attorneys and vendors regarding e-discovery and trial exhibits
Perform internet and legal research using Westlaw and other platforms
