About The Position

Litchfield Cavo LLP is a growing nation-wide litigation defense law firm seeking a well-rounded, highly-motivated, experienced Litigation Paralegal for its Pasadena, CA office. This role involves supporting defense litigation and managing all phases of the discovery process. Familiarity with case management software or legal billing systems is required. Requirements

Familiarity with case management software or legal billing systems is a must.
Knowledge of electronic filing procedures in California state and federal courts in California.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Working knowledge of docketing and calendaring deadlines.
Experience in drafting and responding to discovery.
Provide excellent written and verbal communication.
Remain self-directed, self-motivated, and effectively work under tight time constraints.
Ability to consistently create and deliver quality work products.
Experience with case management systems (e.g., iManage, Time Matters, Clio, etc.).
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and PDF maker (Nuance or Adobe Pro)).
Demonstrated efficiency navigating the internet.

Nice To Haves

A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved program is preferred but not required.
A Paralegal Certificate is preferred.
