About The Position
The Jacksonville Office of Kubicki Draper is looking for an Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal with 3+ years of experience, preferably in the areas of bodily injury and/or general liability. Kubicki Draper, established in 1963, is a legal expertise firm offering trial, appellate, coverage, commercial, and real estate transaction services. With a team of over 200 attorneys across 12 offices, the firm serves Florida and beyond, including Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience, preferably in the areas of bodily injury and/or general liability
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Competent in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe & Excel
- Must be task oriented
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced friendly environment
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in insurance defense litigation, bodily injury and/or general liability
- Prior experience in reviewing and summarizing medical records and bills
- Working knowledge of Florida Court procedures
Responsibilities
- Summarize medical records, bills and supporting documents, as well as create medical chronologies and bill summaries
- Handle all aspects of discovery
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and counsel effectively in a team environment
