We are seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal to join our Litigation practice group. Requirements

  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, with at least 3 years in New York litigation
  • Strong command of federal court procedures and e-filing systems (ECF/PACER)
  • Experience supporting consumer financial services or creditors’ rights litigation preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, legal research databases, and document management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate required

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with bankruptcy or foreclosure proceedings

Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys through all stages of federal civil litigation across New York’s federal courts
  • Draft, proof, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents
  • Conduct factual and legal research using PACER, CM/ECF, and similar platforms
  • Organize and manage case files, document productions, and discovery tracking
  • Maintain accurate calendars and monitor dockets to ensure compliance with court deadlines
  • Assist in preparing exhibits, deposition binders, and trial materials
  • Liaise professionally with clients, court staff, vendors, and co-counsel
  • Ensure adherence to local, federal, and procedural rules
  • Provide ongoing litigation support for matters involving consumer financial services and creditors’ rights
