Requirements

  • 2+ years of paralegal experience, ideally in litigation (plaintiff-side employment law is a plus, but we’ll train you on employment law specifics).
  • Paralegal certificate or associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Detail-oriented master of legal drafting, with zero tolerance for errors.
  • Proactive problem-solver who anticipates issues and acts without being told.
  • Strong communicator with empathy for clients and clarity for the team.
  • Tech-savvy with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and case management systems; HubSpot experience is a bonus.

Nice To Haves

  • Plaintiff-side employment law experience is a plus.
  • HubSpot experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Draft complaints, motions, discovery requests, and mediation statements with precision, enabling attorneys to focus on strategy.
  • Create fact chronologies, deposition summaries, and witness profiles that form the strategic backbone of each case.
  • Use Westlaw or Lexis to resolve procedural issues, delivering clear, actionable summaries to attorneys.
  • Lead fact-gathering calls with empathy, ensuring clients feel heard while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Proactively spot delays or gaps in cases and escalate solutions to keep cases on track for swift resolution.
  • Use HubSpot, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 to track progress, maintain flawless records, and streamline workflows.
