About The Position
The Orlando office of Kubicki Draper is currently seeking an Insurance Defense Legal Paralegal with 3+ years of experience, preferably in the area of First Party Property. Kubicki Draper, established in 1963, is a law firm with over 250 attorneys across 12 offices, specializing in trial, appellate, coverage, commercial, and real estate transaction services. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation
- Working knowledge of Florida Court procedures
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Competent in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe & Excel
- Must be task oriented
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced friendly environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in First Party Property
- Additional experience in reviewing and summarizing medical records and bills
- Additional skills in reviewing medical records, bills and supporting documents, as well as create medical chronologies and bill summaries
Responsibilities
- Prepare discovery responses, subpoenas, simple motions, and binders for our clients and court’s review
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and counsel effectively in a team environment
- Review medical records, bills and supporting documents
