Litigation Legal Assistant – Fort Lauderdale

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in commercial litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida e-filing (state and federal courts).
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume caseloads.
  • Strong communication and client service skills.
  • Ability to manage attorney schedules and deadlines with precision.

Nice To Haves

  • E-Discovery and Relativity experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage attorney calendars, correspondence, client intake, and case files.
  • Draft, prepare, and finalize pleadings in accordance with state and federal court rules.
  • Assist with e-filing, discovery, and case management including trial prep and depositions.
  • Coordinate with vendors, manage exhibits, privilege logs, and production deadlines.
  • Provide organizational and legal support at trial (jury selection, exhibits, witness coordination).
  • Track and record billable time in 3E, process expenses, and support AR collections.
