About The Position

Roll Law Group PC, the "captive" law firm for The Wonderful Company and its subsidiaries, is seeking a Law Clerk to join its legal team. This position is for a qualified candidate interested in working as a Law Clerk for Roll Law Group after graduation from college and before attending law school, with an end date of July 2028. This opportunity will prepare the successful candidate for law school and be a great start to their legal career. As a Law Clerk, you will support the Roll Law Group team in its litigation efforts, assisting in the intake, research, investigation, assignment, and reporting of all lawsuits and counseling matters handled by the firm. The work schedule is hybrid, with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Requirements

Intent to apply to law school for the 2028 school year
Bachelor’s degree
Strong quantitative, research and analytical skills.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Superb organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to work in a complex culture.
Ability to adapt to evolving responsibilities and open to new learning opportunities.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Positive and self-starter attitude with a strong sense of urgency and dedicated work ethic

Responsibilities

Support Roll Law Group in the administration of its day-to-day operations.
Conduct preliminary analysis and research regarding new litigation matters, including any deadlines, nature of dispute and/or inquiry, and scope of legal assistance required.
Assist in creation, summary, and assignment of new lawsuits, demands, and counseling matters.
Retrieve, process, and distribute incoming/outgoing legal documents, correspondence, and other materials.
Maintain and access electronic files via TyMetrix, iManage, and CT Corp databases, with reporting from these systems as needed.
Respond to various third-party requests for information.
Assist in preparation of annual budget preparation and tracking of expenses.
Create presentations, documents and charts using PowerPoint, Excel, and others.
Maintain law library and distribute updated reference books.
Liaise with other corporate function teams at The Wonderful Company, such Finance, Treasury, Human Resources, as appropriate.
Work with other members of Roll Law Group and Wonderful Legal team to develop and implement ideas to facilitate process improvements.
