This client has a very fast-paced practice and the position will handle cases across Kentucky.They also offer top salary ($100 - $140), benefits, along with yearly bonuses.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of injury litigation experience.
- Must have KY license, IN would be helpful.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced but team oriented environment.
- Experience with discovery, depositions, pleadings, research, investigations and mediation.
- Must be able to communicate often to clients and other providers.
Responsibilities
- Handle caseload from inception to completion.
- Advise clients concerning their claims or defense of claims, legal rights and obligations.
- Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for clients.
- Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
- Investigate, interview and gather evidence to formulate defense.
- Prepare and draft legal documents including briefs and opinions.
- Negotiate settlements and mediations.
- Regularly handle court appearances and depositions.
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports.
