Overview of the Position Primary responsibility will be managing the firm's court/legal calendar and deadlines for attorneys (details below) as the firm's calendar clerk Must possess strong understanding of legal civil procedure, motions and court appearance types Proficiency with NYSCEF required Excellent and professional communication skills required - written and verbal Confident and comfortable with regularly communicating with the courts, opposing counsel, adversaries, clients and, of course, the attorneys and other staff members of the firm Additional responsibilities will include legal drafting and filing Bonus: the hired candidate will not only receive the listed compensation and benefits but will also get bragging rights that they work at an awesome place with awesome people (value: priceless).
