About The Position

PLS Logistics is seeking a Litigation Attorney for its Nashville office. The role works closely with the owner of PLS and outside general counsel. During the first year, the attorney will partner with outside legal resources and work with large law firms on matters such as collections, agreements, and trade secrets. The position offers exposure and growth potential into larger-scale legal matters with PLS. The role is based in the Nashville, Tennessee office, requires residence in the Nashville area, and includes court appearances as needed and travel throughout the United States at least once per month.

Requirements

• Law degree (J.D.).
• 1–3 years of litigation experience following law school.
• Prosecutorial experience, such as with a local district attorney's office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence working with business owners, general counsel, and large law firms.
• Must live in the Nashville, Tennessee area.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the owner of PLS and outside general counsel on legal matters affecting the business.
• Partner with outside legal resources throughout the first year.
• Interact with large law firms on matters such as collections, agreements, and trade secrets.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements.
• Appear in court proceedings when needed.
• Travel throughout the United States as required, at least once per month.
