About The Position

The New York office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP is seeking an associate with 2 to 5 years of complex litigation experience in state and federal courts. Top law firm experience or judicial clerkship preferred, excellent academic credentials, analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills required. Candidates must be admitted in New York. As an associate in the Litigation Department, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys.

Requirements

2 to 5 years of substantial litigation experience
Candidates must be admitted in New York
Excellent academic credentials
Analytical skills
Verbal and written communication skills required

Nice To Haves

Top law firm experience or judicial clerkship preferred
Experience handling complex, high-stakes matters is preferred, particularly in commercial litigation, investigations, white-collar defense, securities litigation, and managed care
Strong judgment, initiative, and a desire to take meaningful ownership of matters and become an integral member of the litigation team
