Litigation Associate
About The Position
The Pennsylvania Office of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., has an opening for a bright, energetic, and hard-working litigation associate. The candidates should have 3-5 years’ experience in complex commercial litigation. The position provides the opportunity to work both independently and as part of our strong litigation team. Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in complex commercial litigation
- Superior academic credentials
- Excellent researching skills
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Must be bar admitted in the state Pennsylvania
- Must have Pennsylvania State court experience
Responsibilities
- Handling all aspects of commercial litigation
- drafting pleadings and motions
- preparing discovery and handling discovery disputes
- taking and defending depositions
- court appearances
- day to day case management and client management
- Appear before state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and arbitrations.
