About The Position

Barnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking a Litigation Associate to join our Nashville office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney with experience in white collar matters, investigations, and/or complex commercial litigation to work on sophisticated disputes and high-stakes matters across a broad range of industries. The position offers meaningful client exposure, active involvement in case strategy, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced trial lawyers in a collaborative and nationally respected practice.

Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of litigation experience at a law firm
• Outstanding writing, research, and analytical skills
• Strong academic credentials from a Top 50 law school
• Admission to the Tennessee Bar is required

Nice To Haves

• Federal judicial clerkship experience is a plus
• Highly motivated to be part of an active trial practice
• Demonstrate initiative
• Assume responsibility for client matters
• Exhibit the interpersonal skills to work well as part of a large, collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Representing clients in both TN state court, as well as federal court, in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion drafting, and hearings and trial or trial preparation.
