About The Position

MGC is an industry-leading civil litigation firm with 31 years of experience and 22 offices across 12 states. We are seeking attorneys to join our Litigation team in Raleigh, NC. Remote/hybrid options will be considered after training and integration. Associates will gain hands-on experience in all phases of civil litigation, from case inception to trial, and will have direct client contact. The firm offers competitive compensation with monthly bonus opportunities. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina or have pending North Carolina bar exam results.

Requirements

1-5 years of practice experience.

Responsibilities

Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.
