Charleston Litigation Associate Attorney
About The Position
MGC is an industry-leading civil litigation firm with 31 years of excellence, operating across 22 offices in 12 states. We are seeking attorneys to join our Litigation team in Charleston, SC. Remote/hybrid options will be considered after training and integration with the team. Ideal candidates will have 4-5 years of practice experience. Our associates gain hands-on experience in all phases of civil litigation, from case inception to trial, along with direct client contact. We offer competitive compensation with monthly bonus opportunities. Applicants must be licensed to practice law in South Carolina or have pending South Carolina bar exam results.

Responsibilities
- Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
- Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
- Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
- Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
- Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.
