The West Palm Beach office of Kubicki Draper is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2+ years of civil litigation experience. Experience in insurance defense preferred. Requirements

2+ years of civil litigation experience.
Strong skills in legal research, writing, and persuasive oral advocacy.
Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing, required.
Stellar academic credentials.

An organized mind paired with the ability to communicate succinctly and effectively is crucial.

Nice To Haves

Experience in insurance defense preferred.
Previous experience in litigation, particularly in insurance defense, personal injury, bad faith, and catastrophic injury, is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist with evaluation of presuit claims.
Communication with clients.
Respond to demands.
Draft and respond to discovery.
Assist with and take (once trained) depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
Learn trial skills and sit second chair at trial.
Prepare legal research.
Draft motions and attend hearings, attend inspections.
