The Literacy Interventionist helps ensure that every student develops the reading skills necessary for long-term academic success by providing targeted intervention, strengthening educator practice, partnering with families, and using data to drive meaningful improvement in literacy outcomes across the school. This role provides structured, evidence-based reading instruction to students, with a focus on strengthening foundational literacy, aligned to Common Core State Standards. In addition to direct student support, the Literacy Interventionist plays a key role in strengthening the schoolâs overall literacy program by contributing to professional development for educators, collaborating with teachers and families, and analyzing student data. This position reports to the School Principal and receives support from the Managing Director, Learning Innovation.
