Requirements

Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Valid SC teaching certification or possess the combined education and skills/experience to be considered highly qualified.

Responsibilities

Support all K-8th grade staff in the implementation of the site reading plan and program.
Work directly with teachers in a school providing classroom-based demonstrations, collaborative, one-on-one support, and facilitating teacher inquiry and related professional development.
Work with administrators and teachers to collect and analyze data, interpret, and use it to guide instructional decisions.
Understand and support Science of Reading.
Assist in the design and implementation of intervention plans for struggling readers to ensure grade-level proficiency.
