About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Liquor Store General Manager 4 to lead the operations of our Fine Wine & Good Spirits store at Cranberry Mall in Cranberry Township. At Fine Wine & Good Spirits, you will have the opportunity to manage a dynamic retail environment, gain invaluable experience in retail operations, and grow your career within a supportive, state-owned business. As a General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the store while leading and developing a dedicated team.

Requirements

One year as a Liquor Store General Manager 3C (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration; or
Two years as a Liquor Store General Manager 3B (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Three years as a Liquor Store General Manager 3A (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Four years as a Liquor Store General Manager 2B (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Five years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 3 or a Liquor Store General Manager 2A (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Eight years of supervisory retail sales work.

Be able to perform essential job functions.
Pass a background investigation.
No felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment.

Responsibilities

Overseeing all aspects of the store’s performance, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving operational success.
Key leader overseeing day to day activities, developing a high performing team, and implementing strategies to exceed sales targets while maintaining a top tier store environment.
Guide daily activities to keep operations running smoothly and support business goals.
Direct and motivate employees, delegate tasks, and provide coaching and training.
Drive sales by managing inventory, stocking products, and assisting customers with selection and recommendations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment for customers and staff.
Monitor stock levels and ensure products are placed and displayed in an organized way.
Help maintain adherence to laws, regulations, and company policies relating to alcohol sales.
