Requirements
- One year as a Liquor Store General Manager 3B (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
- Two years as a Liquor Store General Manager 3A (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
- Three years as a Liquor Store General Manager 2B (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
- Four years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 3 or a Liquor Store General Manager 2A (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration)
- Seven years of supervisory retail sales work
- Meet the PA residency requirement
- Be able to perform essential job functions
- Pass a background investigation
- No felony conviction within the last ten years of the prospective date of employment
Responsibilities
- Guide daily operations to maintain exceptional customer service and business performance
- Provide direction, training, and feedback to help maintain and support a high-performing staff
- Drive sales by managing inventory tasks, collaborating with broader management to develop and implement strategies, and providing expert assistance to customers
- Keep the store is kept clean, safe, organized, and welcoming for staff and customers
- Handle cash processes, maintain accurate operational records according to policies and procedures
- Ensure all store activities follow relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to alcohol sales
